Isn't it nice to keep students and parents informed about the learning occurring in your classroom? I used to spend hours creating a newsletter each month for our class news and events. Then I switched to a Microsoft Publisher template, which made things a lot easier and faster.
Recently I discovered another free website that helps create newsletters- Smore!
Smore is very user-friendly, and I could add news, photos, links, video, audio, and calendar events on my newsletter so easily! There are several default backgrounds to choose from, and many fonts are available too.

Starting something new
Students gravitate towards technology like moths to a light. However, using technology in the classroom requires actually knowing about what it out there. I'm constantly learning about new things to use with kids from other people.
That is where this blog comes in.
Hopefully this will become a place where we can share technology tools that have real classroom application.
So, what are you using with students that they enjoy? What tools make learning enjoyable and productive? Inquiring minds want to know!
